Solemn Lament – Lobotomy Corporation Costume Prop
Now V2.0: Split Version with Better Printability and A1 Mini Support
My nephew wanted the Solemn Lament pistols from Lobotomy Corporation for Halloween. Since no printable STLs existed, I converted ThatVanillaBird's 3D concept art into a printable model—with permission.
The set consists of two pistols—one black with white accents, the other inverted.
What’s New in V2.0:
- Now split into two halves with dowel pins for easy alignment and glue-up
- Prints cleaner, faster, and fits on the A1 Mini
- Still includes the original full-body version if you’d rather not glue
- Best printed on a smooth plate for an invisible glue seam
Print Tips:
- One-piece version needs heavy support—use PETG support interface with PLA for easier removal
- I used a 0.6 mm nozzle in Sport Mode for faster printing (~32 hrs due to color swaps)
- 0.4 mm nozzle works too if you prefer finer detail, just longer print times
