Description

Boost Me (for free)

You can boost this model, if you like the designer's work. Thank you!

These are food tokens for your board games - easy and fast to print (~0.3g and 100s/token), nice to handle! They are designed to replace the original wingspan food tokens incl. nectar of the oceania-expansion:

  • fruit
  • rodent
  • nectar
  • seed
  • fish
  • invertebrate

The original tokens have a height of around 1.8mm, the tokens are 2mm. The surface is nearly the same to get a great gameplay (e.g. put food on cards). If you prefer you can also scale it up in Bambu slicer, of course.

I have added two print profiles, one with 9 tokens each (54 in total) and one with 27 tokens each (162 in total). Both are set to be printed object-based, therefore you can print multi-color (if you have an AMS) on one plate with only one single filament change per color!

Tip: Around 200 tokens (so more than 30 tokens each) fits into my token holder:

Have a look at my growing wingspan collection to get the best game experience!

Tested successfully with PLA, no supports, no brim required.

The colors I used:

  • fruit: Bambu Lab PLA Basic Red 10200
  • rodent: Bambu Lab PETG HF Grey 33101
  • nectar: Bambu Lab PLA Basic Pink 10203
  • seed: Bambu Lab PLA Basic Gold 10401
  • fish: Bambu Lab PLA Basic Blue 10601
  • invertebrate: Bambu Lab PLA Basic Dark Green 10502

Don't forget to follow me to get all my future models. If you like my work, I am very thankful for a boost!

If you have any questions or ideas, just let me know, thank you. I am looking forward to your comments and builds!

Made a set as a christmas gift, and then some for ourselves. Came out looking fine, didn't take much time or material, and certainly make a great game even better. Will certainly keep these in mind if I ever need to have a gift for a boardgame enthousiast again

Thank you for sharing your print and the boost. I like the color choice of the fish and the nectar - which colors did you use? I am not 100% happy with my color choice for nectar yet.

That should be enough, but true, some birds really require a lot of e.g. seed for extra points...

These look amazing, did a 2nd set for a friend. Had a couple adhesions issues, as these are so small, need to ensure plate is super clean for these.

Thank you for your feedback an sharing your print! Yes, the plate has to be clean (as usual), not only for adhesion, but to not have wrong colors in your food token 😂

they turned out great! I ended up scaling them to be 3mm thick but kept the rest of the dimensions the same.

Thanks a lot for sharing your print! Good idea to increase the height to make them more heavy and handy, I will give this a try as well!

These tokens are amazing! Perfect upgrade from the cardboard stock ones. I modified the mice tokens (gave them eyes) at the request of my SO. I added my print profile for those interested.

That's a great idea, why do I missed giving them eyes? The worm has eyes too... Thanks for sharing and of course for the boost!

My pleasure! I've been loving your Wingspan models! I hope it didn't come across as rude to modify your tokens, they really are the best!!

Would you mind adding the filaments you used? I think your colors are all a fantastic match

I will add the colors tomorrow, thanks for raising this up. I am not totally happen with the pink for the nectare, but it is not because the color isn't nice, it is because the pink does not fit well to the other colors...
