On November 26, 2024, a newly designed 3D-printed G-key xiao flute was launched. Featuring shorter finger hole spacing, it's more beginner-friendly and compatible with the A1 mini, making printing easier. Link: https://makerworld.com/en/models/823582#profileId-766986
This is an original design of a traditional Chinese xiao flute in E-key, with eight holes and a four-section assembly. The first hole is designed to rotate, allowing both right- and left-handed use. PETG-eco is used as the material. While the airtightness of the printed parts isn’t perfect, you can enhance it by applying tape to the joints during actual use. This 3D-printed xiao flute can be used for recreational blowing or finger technique practice. For serious study, we recommend purchasing a professional-grade flute. The model is relatively slender and tall; if breakage occurs, reduce the print speed and consider printing sections separately.
