Therian Mask 2

The idea of this mask is to be as lightweight as possible. The model is very thin and light, so it’s best to coat for example, fur, felt or fabric to make it durable. Felt can also be painted with suitable colors. I recommend using a resilient and stiff PLA/PETG filament or flexible TPU95. I used Bambu Basic PLA and it works very well.

I also recommend gluing the elastic band inside, a bit further from the edge. It is a durable solution and doesn’t press on the face.

Lower at the top and bottom, more room for the nose and little bit different from the previous Therian Mask. Also, check out the models I designed previously: CatMask and VanillaSkyMask
 

Weight: model 43g, support 7g, quite consistent wall thickness, reinforcements at the edges. It’s a good idea to smooth out the bottom corners to make them rounded, along with any sharp edges.

This model is scaled to fit a 10 year old, although it also fits me, and I am middle-aged after all. So measure the width of the head and scale the model to fit.

• The total printing time is 2h27min at 100% normal speed. I used the sport mode, and the print turned out great.
