AHG Pellet-Box holder for benchrest shooting

This model does not include the clamp, on the plus side you can get whatever clamp will fit your becnhrest.

When benchrest shooting with an air rifle you often want to attach the pellet box to the actual benchrest, so you don't have to move your body out of position as much. These holders can be slightly expensive (or in my case out of stock).

I have a large number of clamps for cameras at home, so I decided to create a holder for the pellet box that could be attached to a ¼ inch screw, which fit said clamps.

In my case these screws were 8mm long, if your screw is longer, I also included the FreeCAD file which would allow you to edit the model to fit a longer or different screw. If you lack the knowledge to do so, leave a comment with the required screw length and type, and I can add it as an STL.

Two STL files are included, where the regular version has some cutouts for the hinges of the pellet box in the back, while the “lower” version is only 11mm in height, (7mm from the ceiling of the bottom), meaning you no longer need the cutouts. This does make the area around the screw weaker. My personal preference was the regular one, but both work.

Incase you see a use in for this holder for other objects, the inner dimensions of the cube are 106mm x 106mm

For some additional strength in the prints, I deviated from the standard print profiles.
