The correspondence between the Eight Guardian Gods and the Twelve Zodiac Animals is as follows:
Thousand Armed Guanyin Bodhisattva: Protects those born in the Year of the Rat. Thousand Armed Guanyin Bodhisattva is a symbol of great compassion, and devout worship can bless those born in the Year of the Rat with peace and good fortune.
