I was exasperated by the apparent malfunction of the Z-axis sensor, as it inexplicably moved the aircraft during flight. Consequently, I undertook research. Existing models proved insufficiently precise, exhibiting excessive tolerances that necessitated adhesive—a solution I found unsatisfactory. Therefore, I created this version.

This requires the 49E OH49E sensor and round magnets with dimensions [EDIT] 6x2. Please verify alignment using a diagnostic tool on your computer, for example, by entering Windows + R and then joy.cpl.

Hi! I've tried out your design, but unfortunately I wasn't able to fit the magnet holder inside the grip :( I've used 6x3 magnets, they stick out a little bit outside the magnet holder, and when installed in the grip they collide with the plastic notches inside the grip (these tiny pieces of plastic that used to position and hold in place the potentiometer). Have you trimmed the plastic inside the grip to fit the magnet holder, or am I doing something wrong?

In case anyone attempts to do Thrustmaster Farmstick, I've got a picture of the wire order below since the wires are different colors from the T16000m. @Dexebal , is there anyway you could make a version of the piece that holds the hall effect sensor where the bottom "U" section is 2.5mm deeper and another that's 5mm deeper? On the Farmstick you have to kind of snap that part off as it's glued down lightly versus on the T16000m where it appears that comes odd with the old sensor easy. Made a boo boo on the second stick I was upgrading and it took part of the center column with it as it was glued way more then the first. It that area was deeper, I think it would grab onto the remaining area to center it.

Have you used this on a Thrustsmaster Farmstick? Have the same internals from what I can see when I opened mine up, The only issue is that the wiring colors are different so I'm not sure the order They are yellow/white/red versus the colors in the T16000.

I finally got a chance to attempt this on the Farmstick, your picture helped. The only issue I'm running into is that there is a massive deadzone in the middle. Did you run into that during any test fittings? Or limited pick up going left / right? Tried many sensors, obviously nothing with the print just curious if others ran into something odd. Edit: Got 6x3 magnets, that seemed to give me 0-100% movement so thank you for inadvertently making that other version recently. I think my minor dead zone (I mean, TINY) when twisting right is just due to the sensor being the tiniest off center which makes sense.
