Description

To be clear, this is a remix of 3 different models mushed together to make One Thing.

I really like Yacchi's Beyblade X Launcher Holder, but I found the belt clips to be a little too flimsy, and they snapped on me during use fairly quickly.

Thankfully, I remembered this Launcher Grip by Saz that uses covertec, and it got some ideas spinning in my head.

I replaced the belt clips on the launcher holder with the covertec wheels/knobs from the launcher grip.

Since there's 2 covertec wheels on the launcher holder, it needs 2 covertec holes to attach to.

With that in mind, I remixed HairBrainedProjects' Covertec Clip (which is also a remix, so this is a remix of a remix and we're really getting lost in the sauce here) to attach to 2 covertec wheels at once.

A few 5 or 10 iterations and test prints later, and BOOM! It's this holster for your Beyblade X launcher.

Just slip the Covertec Dual Clip onto a belt, insert the Beylauncher Holster into the clip (it will be a tight fit, but that's what we want), then fit your launcher (string and winder) into the holster.

UPDATE:

04 April 2025: Added a ring to the holster designed to hold your ripcord in case it does not fit and/or you are using ripcord attachments.

This model is under the same license as their originals - these cannot be sold for profit.

Print Settings:

  • Walls: 2
  • Infill: 20% (15% is fine too, i just prefer 20%)
  • Infill pattern: Gyroid
  • Supports: Tree

Miscellaneous:

there's a bunch of covertec wheels and holders out there, but i remixed these ones specifically because after trying out several combinations, this clip and wheel together is a very snug fit.* with covertec, which is usually used with prop lightsabers, you want the fit to be pretty loose for ease of access to your lightsaber without any resistance. but, for the purposes of this make, we want the holster to not budge, and the only thing that moves is your beylauncher.

There's an alternate holster with a second belt loop if you want to wear the launcher lower on your thigh

There is also an alternate belt clip with a wider hole for thicker belts

Printer used: Bambu X1C

Software used: 99.99% Bambu Slicer (T_T) .01% Tinkercad

* it's a snug fit with the tolerances on the printers i use, so your mileage may vary
