Description

Heyho

I really haven't found a 100% satisfactory solution yet to keep my cordless screwdriver in continuous operation. (Mine doesn't have a factory fitted locking function for this and Velcro wears out quickly)

Today I designed this variant. It works great, but is not infinitely adjustable.

Field of application:
As I said, I designed the part for my cordless screwdriver in conjunction with a stand. However, I can already see many other uses for it!

Function:
The two halves simply slide into each other and then lock into place. They can even withstand higher tensile forces without any problems! To open, you can simply pull the part with the 2 eyelets apart and remove it.

Size /Skaling

You can also scale the parts larger or smaller to suit your use! Make sure that the two halves are always scaled the same!

Print:
I printed the parts with a 0.4 & 0.6 mm nozzle at approx. 0.2 mm layer height in PLA. But I recommend PETG or other more technical materials for long-term use. The more perimeter you use, the more stable the mount will be!

Wall mount:
A very obvious alternative use is this fastener to attach cables or similar to the ceiling. For this I have provided one side with a hole for 4 mm screws. Of course, don't overtighten here, otherwise the layers could be separated.

Have fun!
