N30 motor mod for standard linear actuators

You are in the Construction RC hobby ? Or you simply like these simple and cheap little actuators ?
But they are not strong enough to your liking ?

Here is the solution ! With this 3d printed casing, you can change the old N20 motor you have in your old actuators and boost their performance by putting a bigger motor. Yes, a bigger motor 😈.

It is very easy to modify your actuators : order the right motor, change the gearbox, swap the motor and reassemble ! It even reuses the same screws for the casing !

I strongly recommend printing it with a layer height of 0,1mm, and minimum PETG, as PLA is not strong enough.

Even if i did not measured the strenght boost, i can tell you it is at least 1.5x stronger ! For a 64N actuator at 15mm/s, that means that it becomes a 96N actuator ! Pretty impressive !

The lenght of the actuator wit the new casing is only 6mm longer !

You can order your new N30 motor here (not affiliate link) : https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005006225386642.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.122.64eb5e5bHG66JV&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra

Thanks for considering my mod and don't forget to like !
