Description

I am a volunteer on italian ambulances and on trauma scenarios we use this spinal system.
I modeled this keychain as a present to my crew for christmas with their nicknames on it and I decided to share it.
Please, feel free to scale the model, I found out that for good prints 85mm on the long side turns out to be great.

Came out almost perfect, but all of them got those problems in the lower part. Don't know why

Other users, myself included with the same profile, do not experience this issue, have you tried checking for possibly damp filament? Or perhaps you scaled the model down too much and the 0.4 nozzle is struggling. If you scaled it, could you tell me the length of the longest side in millimeters? I printed mine at 85mm if I recall correctly

I printed your slice. Used 4 freshly dried filaments and it was all the same. Also it's the same spot every time, the first handle is only half printed because the other half won't stick. Built plates (tried 3) are freshly cleaned and there's no difference. I'm confused. Is it my printer or a slice setting. In the end, nobody besides me noticed it and all people where happy about the gift, but i just want to print it perfect. Will slice it when i have time and try this.

That's weird! And I'm sorry you went trough all the struggle without any improvement. Unfortunately at this time I'm buried by work so I'm not giving any time to 3d prints, though I want to help, and asap I'll try to print some more and look truogh that exact spot, checking different slice setting. If you have any improvement please share, I'm curious too!

The file is excellent!! I used a bq PLA filament with 6 years of "aging" out of curiosity… it has a slight warp effect but obviously due to the filament. A GREAT project!!

It would have to be way bigger and also I don't think that pla on a daily use would hold that long, but definitely worth a thought!
