Round / Square Rain Shower Head

Let it rain…

Here you can print a round or square rain shower head with a 1/2 inch thread. It comes with three different necks: curved, angled, or straight. The angle of the bend or curve is 30°.

Each neck features a thickening. This was necessary for better grip and because this area is most prone to breakage. Therefore, the necks and the beginning of the head are printed with 100% infill.

Lacking experience with wall counts when printing for warm water applications, the solution became somewhat substantial. I used Bambu Lab PLA.

I have the small A1 Mini printer. Therefore, I could not create a single-piece solution…

These are rain shower heads. The water only drips; there's no water pressure. Otherwise, it would be a normal shower head. This might be insufficient for those with long hair, particularly when washing out shampoo!

And yes, black is not the ideal choice for visual demonstration…

With the curved and angled necks, the shower head might sit askew after screwing it on. You can add one or more rubber seals or lightly sand the end of the neck and screw it on again. This process might need repeating until it fits! Tighten securely, but not so tight that it breaks. Or print a sealing ring with flexible filament!

The model includes five parts: both shower heads and one neck of each type.
