Description

Designed this phone case for my Pixel 8 in Fusion360. It is designed to be printed in TPU or other flexible materials. Stiff materials wont work for this because you wont be able to press the buttons. Material settings in print profile worked nicely for Filamentum flexifill 98A and 40D. I'm very happy about how this turned out and the buttons work nicely when using a flexible material. To avoid curling i found it best to turn the AUX fan off.

Great model, but as others noted the lip is a bit short resulting in sitting on the screen when face down. I tweaked it and printed a version with a taller lip but unfortunately cannot post it due to the license. Really liking the one with the modified lip, considering printing one with fuzzy skin on the outside for a wee bit of grip. Printed in Overture 95A.

Amazing, thanks for the update! I have posted my remix here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1877196-tpu-google-pixel-8-case-slightly-deeper-mod#profileId-2009740 Still using the case 5+ weeks later and am _very_ happy with it. :D

Awesome model. I bought TPU just to print this model and I was over the moon with the outcome. Fits my phone really well and everyone is shocked how flexible this case is. The buttons work really well too. 10/10 from me.

Printed it with TPU 95A from Overture, worked smoothly so far and fits perfectly, but the stringing in the honeycomb is difficult to remove 😅 Thank you very much

Thanks! If you have problems with stringing you should dry your filament and check retraction settings, TPU is very hydroscopic. You could also try using a lighter on the case to burn off the strings😁

I had dried it beforehand, residual moisture was around 10%, maybe I should have reduced the speed at the beginning? I will check the retraction settings, thanks a lot for the tips 😃 TPU is quite complicated I'm just realizing that 😅

Hey @Jooa97 ! Could you maybe share the model of the phone itself? I'd love to model my own case but can't find any accurate model of the Pixel 8 online. Thanks!

Any chance you could change the license to allow Remixes? I'd like to post one that's been adapted to work with Magsafe

Came out great, right middleground between strength and looks - Printed in AMS TPU Makerworld won't let me review because apparently I had an unsuccesful print (I didn't, must have accidently done something on the X1C review thing, will boost when I get a token 🙃)

Thank you! I might make a V2 with a mic hole and maybe taller edges based on feedback from others.

Would you care to elaborate on your problem and maybe send a picture? I'm using this case as my daily driver and have had no problems. Did you print it in TPU?
