Description

This is a set of omnidirectional caster wheels that use a captive ball inside of a printed housing. The whole design is printed as one, with the sphere already in place, no assembly required.

 

This version is about 2.5 cm in height. If you are constrained in height, check out my 1.2 cm mini version: Link

 

Print using the provided parameters, let the print cool down fully, then apply a bit of sideways force to the ball to break it loose. It should spin freely after a bit of manual turning. The holes should accommodate 3 mm countersunk wood screws or M3 machine screws.
