Conical Washers Metric (M3 / M4 / M5 / M6 / M8)
Print Profile(1)

Description
You'll find here M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8 conical washers + some variations for the edges (straight / cut / rounded).
These are useful with tapered-head screws, but can be used differently to suit your needs.
The washer is used to avoid scratches, to cover misaligned holes, as a stop, as a separator, as an anti-slip, etc...
The standard data sheet is included in the images and here are the details :
M3 = +/- ø9x2mm b=3mm a=82°
M4 = +/- ø12.5x3mm b=4 a=82°
M5 = +/- ø14.8x3.5mm b=5mm a=82°
M6 = +/- ø16.8x4mm b=6mm a=82°
M8 = +/- ø25x6mm b=8mm a=82°
Here are my recommendations (available in my print file):
- For better aesthetics, prefer a smaller layer height, I chose to use 0.12mm. If you don't need the object to be aesthetically pleasing, you can choose a higher layer up to 0.20mm. For smaller washers, use a lower layer height (from 0.12mm); for larger washers, use a higher layer height (up to 0.20mm).
- Concerning the seam, use the “Back” function to have it in only one place.
- I chose to use the ironing function, but don't activate it if you don't like the look.
- Prefer 3 walls minimum for better resistance. If you want the object to be more resistant, don't hesitate to add a few more walls.
- Infill gyroid between 15 and 30%.
