Description
Customize your ordinary Aliexpress gate remote controller with this cute gameboy-inspired mini kit.
How to
This model is based and requires this specific Remote model:
If you don't have one already, you can find it really cheap on AliExpress (about a dollar at the moment of writing).
Just search for “gate remote control”.
Print and assembly
Print and assembly is really straightforward:
Remove the 3 screws from the back of the original remote.
Open it all up and just keep the board, the rubber and, of course, the screws.
Place the board inside the base, along with the rubber.
Just make sure to align the screws holes on the correct side.
Add the bumper and place the buttons on top of the rubber.
If the Buttons little connector breaks, don't worry, it's mainly used to keep them aligned and for ease of use.
You got it together! I know you didn't need this step-by-step tutorial after all.
Ha! You almost forgot the screws on the back. Make sure you don't overtighten them.
That's it. Hope you like your new gate opener now.
