Description

Have you ever wanted to make flywheel nerf blasters but didn't have flywheels on hand? Well, these flywheels focus on making them easier to 3D print and make at home! these flywheels were all printed with the following settings

100% infill

brim on

draft shield on

ABS settings

support tree on

these settings enable almost any printer to print ABS reliably, even open framed printers!

now you may be saying that 3d printed flywheels are trash or dangerous, that really isn't the problem here, when these flywheels are printed in ABS, they have almost the same quality as ones made by the official nerf company, just remember to not resin print these because they can shatter. PLA won't work, it will warp and fall of the motor shafts easily.

Not only am I releasing the STL files, I am also releasing the cad files so you guys can make your own flywheels!

Here are the different variations of flywheels

  1. 33mm concave flywheels with holes
  2. 33mm flat flywheels with holes
  3. 33mm smooth flywheels
  4. 34.5mm flywheels with holes

I hope to make more flywheels in the future so stay tuned! more variations are to come!

Love these, i am using it to try and make some for my ultra amp to feed short darts without having to replace the motors and flywheel cage. Was a little challenging mostly adding extra top sections since im used to plasticity and not fusion but i managed to get pretty close. The sketches helped in fusion to get roung size and than i did some cuts in plasticity to get the stacked cake top that is required for this blaster. Big kudos for posting these and making them public domain as well.
