Hi everyone, I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you who have boosted my models over the past year. Your support has genuinely helped me grow on this 3D‑printing side quest and pushed me to keep improving my designs. Hello to my fellow designers, Printers, and creators.
My Name is Dan, and 3D printing is my No. 1 hobby and goes hand in hand with my day-to-day job as a medical device CAD Designer.
With a design background spanning the last 20 years, creating new designs is just my life. Getting into 3d printing during lockdown has opened up many design possibilities and really does fuel my passion.
If you like my designs and would like me to grow, please help me expand and boost me. thank you

Heavy Duty Ukulele or Banjo Instrument Wall mount

hidden Screw Design. Fix bracket to wall then slot mount over

 - MUST print bracket laying down so layer grain runs the length or bracket

  • You MUST print the mount standing up. If not, I can not guarantee the strength of the part. 
  • 0.2 layer height
  • Minimum of 3 wall thickness
  • 20% Gyroid infill
  • The guitar mount works great in quality PLA, but stronger materials would be beneficial. 
  • See the image attached for hole dimensions. I used M4 Screw. Approx 40mm in length
  • Use suitable wall fixings to avoid failure. 

Dimensions

  • 45mm between arms
  • 55mm between holes on the bracket
  • approx 75mm arm length
