This is the way!
This is a nice trailer hitch plug/cover for a standard US class III tow hitch. Print and assemble! The longer thread goes into the square part which fits into the cap. The other thread goes into the square part which accepts your hitch pin.

There are two connector bolt lengths depending on how far back your hitch pin is. Most need the longer ones, but some toyota models with a factory tow hitch need the shorter one.
For liability reasons I did not include a printable tow hitch pin, just use any metal one you have (they are very cheap to buy) or go print one elsewhere.
