Description

I needed a number of PTFE tube pieces cut to precise length for these AMS feeder knobs:

I decided to make a base for my regular blue PTFE tube cutter to increase cutting precision and ease of handling.
This tool cuts precise, easy and fast.
The blue cutter slots in place easily and when used is held in place by a lip in the front of the base.

You'll need a Ø3mm (L~30mm) shaft, bolt or similar to assemble the clamping lever.

There's some clearances on the bottom of the base for 4 optional Ø10mm x 1 felt pads for more stability while in use.

I used a similar one, cut it a bit, and then literally poured a lot of glue over it. It's not a work of art, but it works as it should... :-)

Can I get a link for the ptfe cutter you used? The one I have doesn't fit in the slot because it's formed differently 😕
