Description

Great little cable track to organize cables for linear motion. This version articulates both ways. I have a version that only articulates one way on my profile as well.

I recommend printing in place but it's designed so you can clip them together if printed individually. Has clip openings so you can add your cables at any time (2mm opening). Recommend PETG to make the clip a bit tougher and flexible but PLA works too.

There are two mirrored openings for the clip. I do 2-3 of one direction followed by 2-3 of the other direction so the cable cant fall out.

Designed for no support. You should not need any if you want to print this.

Boost Me (for free)

Went through quite a few iterations for the right tolerance so I'd appreciate a boost if you like it. Cheers!

Will add end pieces soon.

Designed so no support is required.

Designed to fit 2020 and 2040 extrusions as well.

Can be scaled up to use on 4040 extrusions or others as well.

My friend who is a begginer in 3d printing just got an Anycubic Vyper and I thought this might be useful to print for him. I didn't knew that the model will be so good with tolerances so I printed just a couple of pieces, After I saw the result, I printed it as long as he needed.

What are you printing it out of? and how is it not holding together? I havent had any issues with strength so far

It'd be great if you could let me know what exactly went wrong with it so i can fix it and not just leave a 3 star review

Replying to @NZPrint :
Printing in ABS - It’s not tight enough so just falls apart (without a cable in it)

It breaks easily and is quite small

The size is intentional You might try scaling it down What material did you use

Replying to @NZPrint :
Yes, it's likely due to printing it with PLA and from the phone

Yes, I printed it with PETG HF. Occasionally somewhat temperamental with print in place tolerances

Would love to see the end point mounts, but printed perfect with some 10 year old PLA I had in clear.

Pretty good even to use as modular model! Stacked 3 on top of each other! Perfect!
