Description

Contact Lens Dispenser

Dispenser for contact lenses. Can be attached to a wall with double sided tape or velcro.

This model includes 3 profiles/versions (you can always add your own):

  1. Fast AMS version: requires hot or super glue, prints in about 4 hours (version that I used)
  2. Slower AMS version: doesn't require any glue, prints in 8-9 hours (untested, didn't print it yet)
  3. Non-AMS version: prints in 3-4 hours (untested, didn't print it yet)

The model was printed on Bambu Lab A1 with Marble PLA for the body and Matte Black PLA for the labels.

This 3D model is a remix of MechAustin's model. I rounded the edged and corners, fixed imperfections and added LEFT and RIGHT labels.

Don't forget to like and boost this model!

I'm not the OP, but I've just posted a loading tray as a print profile that might help.

Awesome! In Bambu studio I cut it in half, and added 2cm of height in the middle. Furthermore I added a 1mm thin backplate, so it fits perfectly into my shelf without wiggling. I thought of making it the full height of my shelf, but then i cant fill it up without removing it.

Good design, but really hard to load up with your contacts. If we are going to be having to load up this dispenser, every two weeks, we would want it to be simple

The L & R didn't quite fit (required heat and force to get them in). Also there is a big support just for the top of the R which is probably unnecesary. Functionally, it didn't work as well as expected. I had to put it on an angle so they don't just slide out on their own and it's difficult to load because you have to just drop them in from the top.

I think it's a good idea, I am just loading mine from the bottom which is working reasonably well.

Came out pretty nicely. One star off because the letters were too broad to fit into the Grooves that were printed out for them. Ended up saying the edges slightly
