Here comes the Fujian aircraft carrier's "sword-wielding escort"
The first ship of the Type 055 destroyer, Nanchang (hull number 101), is 183 meters long, 22 meters wide, has a full load displacement of over 12300 tons, and a maximum speed of 32 knots
It is equipped with 112 vertical missile launch cells, capable of launching cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-submarine missiles
The model is 90mm long, with a scale of approximately 1:2000
2026.5.24
Ten Type 055 destroyers are now in service. This time, I added the 109 Dongguan and 110 Anqing to the print profile. Their hull shape is the same as the last four ships, only the hull numbers differ
2024.12.12
Looking back at the previous Type 055, I found that the hull shape was not very accurate (including the bottom of the ship), so I made corrections
Although called a revision, it's almost like a complete redesign. I've also added many details, enough to support printing at double the size
As you can clearly see from the image below, the previous ship was too bulky, while the revised version has a more elegant hull shape😁

This time, I have updated the hull numbers for all 8 active Type 055 ships. The different smoke stacks of the last four ships are also represented. Print them all for 8 times the fun, or you can choose your favorite one to print
Below are the hull numbers and names. See if your hometown ship is among them
101 Nanchang 102 Lhasa 103 Anshan 104 Wuxi
105 Dalian 106 Yan'an 107 Zunyi 108 Xianyang

I have replaced all previous print profiles, including the ship's bottom. The previously released separate ship bottom and dry dock models will be delisted
2024.11.03
Added a magnetic base and stand for the Type 055 (now delisted)

Two 4X2 magnets can be installed at the bottom. With my previous Fujian aircraft carrier, the "fleet on the fridge" now has two ships

The 1:2000 scale ship is truly tiny. When modeling, I considered using a 0.4 nozzle to print more details. Many dimensions on the ship have been optimized
This time, both single-color and multi-color versions are provided. The multi-color version currently uses only two colors, light gray and gray
In the future, I will continue to create other ships, gradually expanding this fleet. I hope you all like them
