Microscope holder adjustable in height

I've been annoyed with the poorly made foot for long enough now!

The height adjuster apparently cannot be printed at the prevailing ambient temperatures... (see picture...) So you need a long M5 screw for adjustment with a screw and screwdriver...

Therefore there is a second variant. This one needs a M6 threaded rod. This has to be cut to the correct length. Then the "manipulator / the cap can be fixed with the locknuts and the tension / compression stage can be adjusted.

The holder for the microscope works - but it's too small. So there is another file with a larger diameter (33mm).

=> Now I'm happy!

The two large parts that had to be moved against each other I had to grind a little, then the play was almost too big...

And 9X (min. => better 12X) M3 X approx. 10mm inner hex

You also need an M3 and an M6 thread cutter.

The microscope is gigantic for the price! Only the focusing is always annoying...
