This is the thirteenth installment in the Micro-City Texture series: Taipei at a scale of 1:125,000.

We crafted this model, making this city keepsake a unique addition to your 3D printed collection, preserving Taipei’s distinctive mountains, waters, and cityscape.

The model’s base data originates from publicly available GIS geographic information systems, covering an area of 25 kilometers by 25 kilometers.

Processed from city satellite imagery and data, the model conceptually represents the city’s spatial structure and aesthetic texture.

【1】The main model measures 200mm x 200mm, with a scale of 1:125,000. Mountain elevations are unscaled, faithfully recreating topographical undulations.

(The consistent scale allows for the juxtaposition of several cities, offering a visual comparison of their actual sizes.)

【2】Print plate two is a 230mm x 230mm backing plate featuring the city’s name.

(The main model and backing plate, after adhesive bonding, can be framed as a unique home décor piece. Alternatively, print a model base for a desktop display.)
