Description
The most popular switch format for smart homes.
This enclosure:
- Much safer than a bare switch with click together cover for the contacts
- Cable ties to stop cables pulling out
- An earth/CPC loop-through option with wago spacing inside
- Access to the switch for manual triggering
There are a few musts when printing.
Use a brim to stop the corners lifting.
Consider a .2mm nozzle for pinpoint accuracy and fitting. The tolerances are pretty close.
I used external fuzzy wall for an effect I fancied. It has no other function.
The switch must be pushed fully into its socket, (you will hear a click).
The lid needs to click at both catches in order to be secure.
Most importantly do not work on live power!
Kind regards
A
