Description

Boost Me (for free)

This is my first proper 3D model, which I have created with a lot of love, so I would be more than happy to receive a few boosts. Thank you <3

Introducing the Bembel Lamp - A unique blend of traditional Frankfurt craftmanship and a modern design

The lamp is inspired by the iconic Bembel, a traditional Frankfurt jug used to serve apple wine - or as we say: “Äbbelwoi”. Its soft, warm light creates a cozy atmosphere - not only in Hessian living rooms.

I designed and modeled the jug and the base for the IKEA KAPPLAKE LED spotlight from scratch with a lot of love and hand-painted Bembel patterns - paying homage to my “Magnificent Hometown” Frankfurt on the Main.

It's my first proper 3D model and I tweaked it for weeks until I was satisfied with the result - so please don't be too harsh on me. However, any suggestions for improvement are greatly appreciated!

The assembly is quite simple and self-explanatory. If you have any problems, please let me know. :)

Turned out great. However, I equipped it with an LED strip. I'd love to drink my next beverage from it 😂 My boost is definitely yours!!!

Hey, look at this, this is a Bembel of the finest This is true craftsmanship, as it belongs in our home This thing is so beautiful, I'll print it as a glowing Bembel If you feel like it, it would be awesome if you also made a closed version, so I can print this thing from PETG and pour plenty of cider into it That would be a huge deal for a true Hessian

A lot of thanks! :) I'll make it for you! Do you mean with or without light in the base With light it's difficult but doable And I'd have to put the pattern on the outside otherwise you wouldn't see anything of it 😁

I printed the lamp for my father last week He was absolutely delighted The lamp truly looks fantastic as a decorative object, especially when paired with Ebbelwoi ;-) Many thanks for this wonderful model and thank you for making it compatible with the affordable IKEA Kapplake

The lamp is a fantastic idea and printed well on the first try, despite the challenging filament Next, a greyish filament will be used, and then the lamp (the LED lamp itself) might be covered with a slightly bluish paper or lid Perhaps this will allow the classic Bembel colours to be represented Thank you for the design

My first print was in white and it came out really well. The IKEA lamp you designed it for fits wonderfully. I ordered five of the very inexpensive lamps to make Christmas gifts. I plan to experiment with other colors such as gold and translucent to blue. The internal illumination really shows off the patterns used to carefully embedded. The only minor flaw is that the horizontal lines lines from the printer layers can be seen if one looks closely. Many thanks for a great model!
