Description

This is a new version of the raygun mk2 I have already built. This does not include the glowing led, there is a model on my page for that.

The Ray Gun MK2 is a sleek, futuristic energy weapon designed with advanced sci-fi aesthetics. The body of the gun is streamlined, with smooth, curved surfaces that blend modern technology with an otherworldly feel.

  • Barrel Design: The gun features a dual-barrel setup, which is slightly elongated, giving it a hybrid between a traditional blaster and an energy weapon. The barrels are equipped with glowing energy coils or conduits running along the sides, indicating its high-tech plasma or laser propulsion system. The front end has a circular muzzle with a distinctive three-pronged opening, designed to release powerful energy blasts.
  • Energy Chamber: In the center of the gun, there is a glowing energy chamber or power core, which pulses with an intense green or blue light. This energy core is enclosed in a protective casing, with visible circuitry or cables running from it toward the barrels, showing the flow of power.
  • Handle and Grip: The grip is ergonomically designed for easy handling, with a slight curve to fit comfortably in the hand. The handle is equipped with tactile grooves for a firm grip, and a trigger that looks sensitive, responding instantly to touch. There are also small buttons or switches around the thumb area for switching modes, like charge shots or burst fire.
  • Stock and Rear Design: The rear of the gun has a compact telescopic stock that could retract or expand, giving it a versatile appearance. The back end is capped with a vented section, perhaps for cooling down after extended firing.
  • Materials and Finish: The Ray Gun MK2 has a high-gloss metal finish in dark steel or matte black, with accents of chrome or polished aluminum. Portions of the gun are made of high-tech composite materials, which give it a futuristic yet practical appearance.
  • Size and Weight: It is compact but powerful, slightly bulkier than a handgun but far more advanced. It feels well-balanced, making it easy to carry and wield, with a weight that suggests powerful internals.
  • Lights and Special Effects: The gun is accented with LED-style lights, glowing in sync with its power usage, and possibly a small digital display on the side to indicate power levels or ammo status. When fired, the barrels emit a bright light, with a faint glow of residual energy after each shot.
