3D Miniature of a section of the Alps

This file was created using satellite data and is intended to bring the Alps, or the mountains, a little closer to home!

The print file has very good quality, so the print can be really big. In my case, the model consists of twelve parts, each part being 23x23cm large. In total, the model therefore has a size of 69x92 cm.

All parts were glued together using clamps and attached to a wooden frame. The lighting of the model is important, as the shadows cast make the mountains appear alive.
