Description
Remix of the model by @dyeater on Printables. Includes original and modified parts (print one or the other). Original assembly instructions attached.
Modifications made:
- Modified the screw tightening to work with M5 hardware instead of 1/4"-20
- Uses 3D printed T-nut slider (with pocket for M5 nut)
- Widened Cup Grips for better holding
- Extended Cup Holder Riser for better leverage
- Reduced Slider Base hold diameter for tighter fit
- Adjusted Slider Bar width for better fit
- Removed extra hole on Cup Holder Base
Updated parts list:
- 10x M3x10 Button/Flat Head Screw
- 1x M5x20 Button/Socket/Hex Head Screw
- 2x M5 Nut
- Heavy weight to be inserted in the base (I used a piece of brick)
- (Optional) Super glue for holding the M5 screw and nuts in their 3D printed parts
If the fit is too loose and you want it to sit more snugly in the opening, look at this TPU sleeve I designed.
