One Bolt Swivel Caster Mount for Ikea Bror Shelf

One bolt (8mm) swivel caster mount for Bror shelf. Printed in PLA-CF. I printed several draft versions in PLA, and they also seemed fairly strong.

I borrowed from two models on Printable:

1. ctheroux's Ikea Bror Caster Holder V02
2. Arek's IKEA BROR wheel / caster mount

I changed the base plate so that I could mount a single bolt swivel caster to the bottom. The single bolt casters attach with a M8 bolt that is built into the caster assembly.

I also changed the piece where the mount attaches to the leg of the Bror shelf so that it has a cleaner look.

Print Settings:

Layer Height: 0.16 mm

Initial Layer Height: 0.2 mm

Ironing Type: Top Surfaces (optional, can be printed with ironing off)

Ironing Pattern: Rectilinear (optional, can be printed with ironing off)

Wall Loops: 5

Sparse Infill Density: 50%

Sparse Infill Pattern: Triangles

Outer Wall Speed: 40 mm/s

Support: Needed for the hex pocket cut-out on the bottom of the model. Create manually. I used the PLA-CF for the support/raft base and PETG for the support/raft interface. Top interface spacing was set to 0.01 mm and interface pattern set to concentric.

I also used variable line height for the fillet at the top edge of the mount.
