Description

I've not been able to test my model with real AirPods 3 yet, so please let me know if I still need to improve the model.

This is a printable case for the AirPods 3. It features cutouts for the charge port, setup button and indicator light. The case should stay on without any need for glue or double sided tape and also supports wireless charging.

Printing

The case can be printed upside down with minimal and very easy to remove supports, “don't support bridges" has to be enabled in BambuStudio for that to work. This ensures the round edges of the case are very smooth.

there could be a smaller gap at the back of the case.but overall great 👍😃.

I used 100% infill for this print, it didn't fit right and the lid kept coming off. Waste of filament and time. Wouldn't reccomend. Note to profile uploader: Hi! this print can be improved by increasing the lid length by 0.25 or even 0.1mm. The width of the airpods body can be improved by increasing the value by 0.1 or 0.25 as well. Hope this helps.

Hi, I'm sorry it didn't work well! It looks like you printed it laying flat on the front. That way, the inside won't be that accurate and the latch that holds onto the lid won't print well too. You could try printing it in the orientation the files are uploaded
