Boost Me (for free)

It took me many days to model this, I hope you will support me! I will be more motivated to create more interesting models

Spring Link https://m.tb.cn/h.gwo5rJY
The spring specifications required for the model are 0.5*12*50mm and 0.3*4*30, these specifications are not available in the product selection, please note these two specifications when placing an order

Magnet Link https://m.tb.cn/h.gEsdDX6 Specifications need to be 6*3mm

Do not print with silk filament, do not print with silk filament, do not print with silk filament, important things need to be said three times

Printing is lengthy with two colors, but the result is beautiful and works well. The children were happy with it.

May I inquire about your assembly process and the function of the springs/magnets

I didn't use a magnet. It works without it. I used a weaker ballpoint pen spring in the locking mechanism. The PLA spring printed for the key tray does weaken, but it basically works. I used Bambulab PLA. It might be more practical to print this using ABS, PETG material, but it's best to use a suitable steel spring. I glued the parts together with medium-density cyan acrylate glue for modeling. I used a steel welding rod of the appropriate diameter for the hinge. There were no particular problems with assembly, you just have to be careful when gluing so that the glue doesn't drip onto anything that needs to move.

I found a description in Mandarin and there are two sizes of spring. 0.5x12x50 and 03x5x35. But! When I watch the assembly video, he uses three springs.

Love this print! The directions were in Chinese so my very first print I did with very little instructions and also printed it with silk PLA. For my second print, black, I found directions in English. I did with PETG filament and it’s a lot sturdier. This was a fun project!

I made this and scaled up to 135%. I used a ball point pen spring and 2 others found at a local hardware store. Because of the scale up I needed a pin for the lid hinge(filament wouldn't work) and used 2 brass 3/32 Cotter pins 1.5" long. I probably wouldn't use silk filament next time.

I have downloaded the 2 colour version but when I import it the model seems to be in one colour. Am I missing something? Im using an Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo printer. Thank you

It looks good and works well. The lid design is not entirely optimal for 3D printing, but that didn't cause any problems. The kids loved it. :)

would it be possible to get a version that is separated? the outer "adornments" apart from the inner wooden crate part? I'd love to print it in 2 colors, alas...i have only a single extruder.
