Description

If you are looking for a way to brighten up your holidays, look no further!

This model is a vase-mode print that uses spirals and bridging to create a unique semi-transparent lighting effect.

You can use a color changing LED puck (like these) to create different effects, such as warm, cool, or rainbow colors. The model also includes several different toppers, such as a Reindeer, 5-point star, Icosahedron, Mario Star, and even a Star of David to make a Jewish holiday tree! If you want to make your own topper, you only need to make a small 8 mm long x 4.3 mm wide hole in any model you wish, and it will fit on top of the tree.

You can mix and match the toppers to suit your preference or occasion. The print includes the tree, a diffuser cone for a LED puck light to shine into, and the toppers. The model is designed to be easy to print and assemble, and does not require any supports or infill.

A perfect decoration for your home or office, or a great gift for your friends and family. Enjoy and happy holidays!

Printing instructions

  • The tree and the diffuser cone both print in vase mode. 0.2 layer height and walls from 0.5-0.6 mm work fine on a 0.4 mm nozzle.
  • You can print the toppers however you like, they should not generally need support for the hole required to mount them on the tree, however some extreme overhangs like the one on the Star of David could use a tiny bit of tree support.

Usage

  • Put a LED puck or lighting source inside the diffuser cone, and the tree model on top. Finally, top with your topper of choice. Glue in place if desired.
  • Note: The Mario Star comes with 4 little black eyes that should press-in-place. Optionally glue them in if you want.
