Description
A lightbox featuring the GAK 1902 – Grazer Athletiksport-Klub Fußball logo
An internally affixed LED strip illuminates the logo evenly:
For lightboxes, I generally utilize the following LED strip with a USB-A connection.
I offer three lightbox variations in the print profile:
- with an internal white back panel and a slit that radiates light upward and sideways
- with an internal white back panel
- without an internal white back panel (for example, if you wish to apply reflective aluminum foil)
Internally, the support acts as strain relief (where the LED strip cable is wrapped around),
preventing accidental detachment of the LED strip.
With a properly calibrated 3D printer, the front panel should snap into the box (snap-fit),
eliminating the need for adhesive to secure it.
In any case, calibrate the filament used for printing.
Underextrusion readily creates gaps in the surfaces, which is easily discernible in this type of print.
