Summary

This is a 1:1 replica of a 40mm smoke grenade. These grenades are shot from either standalone grenade launchers or from under-barrel grenade launchers such as the M203 used by the M16/M4 family of rifles.

You can change the color of the tip to whatever you want to emulate whatever smoke color you'd like. The default is red.

This model requires no assembly, just print in place and that's that. When removing from the print plate, like all bullets, be sure to bend the print plate a little before removing and grip from the base. That will ensure that firing pin primer etchings on the bottom come off cleanly.

Bambu PLA Filaments used were:
- Metal Copper for base

- Matte White for top
- Matte whatever color you want for tip

If there's any other grenades you are interested in, let me know in the comments.

Boost Me (for free)

If you enjoy my work and would like to help support my ability to share more (and even better) models in the future, please consider boosting or buying me a coffee at the link below.   Your support is what helps me have enough filament and supplies to do all the print testing required for my models to be high quality and easy to assemble.  It takes a mountain of test prints for each model. Thanks :-)

Here's a link to my Buy Me a Coffee page, thanks for the support!
