Description

I often need a very simple clip for various different purposes. So I decided to generate thousands of clips just in case. Below you'll find a guide on how to find the clip you need (This guide is also in the zip file). If there are any clips missing, let me know!


Guide:

To download click “Download STL/CAD files” and select the zip!

This collection contains STL files for universal clips with various dimensions. The files are organized in a hierarchical folder structure and named according to specific conventions.

 

Folder Structure:

File Naming Convention:

Each STL file is named using the following format:

T[Thickness]_D[Depth]_H[Height]_G[Gap].STL

 

Where:

T = Wall Thickness (in mm)

D = Clip Depth (in mm)

H = Clip Height (in mm)

G = Clip Gap (in mm)

 

Example:

T5_D10_H15_G7.STL represents a clip with:

- 5mm Wall Thickness

- 10mm Clip Depth

- 15mm Clip Height

- 7mm Clip Gap

 

Available Ranges:

1. Wall Thickness: 2mm to 10mm (1mm increments)

2. Clip Depth: 5mm, 10mm, 15mm

3. Clip Height: 5mm to 20mm (1mm increments)

4. Clip Gap: 5mm to 15mm (1mm increments)

 

 

Total Variations:

This collection contains 4,752 unique clip designs, covering all combinations of the above variables.

 

Printing Recommendation:
Generally I would recommend printing something like this in PETG because of it's flexibility.
