Snug fit on the hole for the insert and writes just as I would expect a regular pencil would. Simple and keeps my writing utensil from rolling away on me.

the print laying down might be a little tighter of a fit. what's way is it struggling to fit?

no cards will fit. I don't think Canadian cards would be a different dimension?

i wouldn't think so. i made the hole 4mm cause the round part has a 3.8mm diameter and it needs a clearance. and the ink tube has 5mm extra clearance with hole extending farther back then needed to compensate for both dimensions

Printed nicely, and with very good quality! It feels quite comfortable for being so flat (I know it’s a carpenter pencil). Used it a lot until I tripped on stairs while holding it and I ended up hitting my knees and the pen which snapped in half as well as spilling the ink everywhere.
