Summary
This is a lifelike replica of an Oscar award.
Other available Oscar models either show old versions or are only similar to an Oscar Award.

You can scale the Oscar up to real size and have a stunning gift for someone very special.
You can scale the Oscar very small and have the most brilliant decoration for the next party.

You can print the Oscar completely in one color.
You can print the Oscar in two parts (Oscar and base) with one color each.
You can print the Oscar in one print with a filament change.
If you have a multi-material printer (AMS or MMU), there is also a ready-made file for this!

Print
Scale up all parts by 1,642 (164,2%) if you want to archieve real-size (34,5cm / 13,5 inch) height of the oscar award.
Use 10-15% gyroid infill.
Supports for the oscar or complete model absolutely required! I used organic supports (>60°). The base do not need supports.
Consider whether you want to use variable layer heights.

Assembly (if required)
I used good ol' instant adhesive to glue the oscar and base together. Give the glue enough time to harden. I waited 2 hours.

Used filament in the pictures:
Base - Prusament PETG Prusa Galaxy Black
Oscar - Prusament PLA Blend Viva La Bronze

Do you like my work? I would be very happy if you would support my work on Ko-fi.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

  • Size of the Oscar adjusted
  • stand completely redesigned according to the original
  • Oscar award cut and prepared for printing in various methods

Excellent model. I preferred to cut and print in two colors but I did it directly in Bambu Studio

Nice, detailed model, prints perfect. Used manual filament change for two-color printing as I do not have AMS. The bumps on the black base of the statue is caused by me neglecting proper dry-out of filament before printing.

I'm new to 3D printing, having x1 carbon printer. Can you advise if this print will required some supports, or they are in quite strict line and they will be not required? Thanks Edit: get the info from printing tipis Thx
