Description

Introduction:

The low poly cortex figure, materialized straight out of my PS1 era video game nostalgia! I hope it will bring as much joy as I did while I designed it :)

Printing details:

Multicolor file: Again, the painting only shows up in Bambu studio and I can't get it to work on Prusa/Orca, sorry about that…

Layer height: 0.12mm

Material: Prusa PETG, signal white, galaxy black, mango yellow, chalky blue.

Infill/walls: I used 8% gyroid and between 3 walls (Hair, body, feet, beard) and 4 walls (Head)

Supports:
Cortex Hair:

For the hair, I recommend supporting these two squares with normal, manual, snug supports, no brim, you can also print it without anything but the underside will look a bit worse (no brim with PETG and textured PEI bed, I did not test in PLA)

Cortex Head:

For the head, supporting these areas is paramount without them, the bed adhesion will fail, even with a huge brim.

Assembly instructions:

I'm working on assembly instructions (1-14 days ETA) in the meantime it should be pretty straightforward if you match the pieces' shapes and their corresponding holes. (The head insertion angle into the torso is a bit misleading look at the side picture of cortex to see what angle the head should be)
