Roller Shutter End Stop
Print Profile(1)

Description
This model is a roller shutter stop or end stop designed to prevent the roller shutter from being fully retracted into the roller shutter box. The stopper is inserted directly into the lowest slat of the roller shutter, ensuring a defined stopping point when raising it.
The model boasts a robust, rounded shape that securely sits within the roller shutter without impeding operation. Installation is straightforward; the stopper is slid into the designated holes or openings of the roller shutter, and the counterpart is inserted from the opposite side, ensuring a firm hold. The hole spacing in the roller shutter must be 18 mm, and the hole diameter must be at least 8 mm.
This model should be printed using a durable material such as ABS or PETG to withstand daily wear and tear, although I printed it in PLA and it has performed flawlessly for years. It serves as a practical replacement part, as finding suitable replacements in hardware stores or online is often challenging. It is likely not as mechanically robust as commercially injection-molded models.
