Description
I created an adapter ring to be able to mount 10 neodymium magnets on the Caleffi DIRTMAG® series 5453 magnetic filter strainer instead of the original 2. This greatly increased the ability to retain ferrous impurities present in the system. I created this ring to avoid having to replace the entire body with a different model, and make the existing filter much more efficient.
Necessary materials
Of course, the Caleffi DIRTMAG® series 5453 magnetic filter

Assembly
Assembly is very simple because you just need to insert 10 magnets into their respective seats respecting the N-S polarities so that they do not repel each other (2 magnets can be recovered from the original ring). There is also a hole to be able to pull them out if they are inserted upside down in the housing. In the larger holes, the threaded sockets must be inserted using a soldering station. The whole thing is then screwed together by putting the two shells on the filter in place of the original ring.
