Designed for Dummy13, these mech-style mechanical wings are better suited to Dummy13's own design language.

Attention! As the joints are very tight during the initial installation, the connecting rods of the ball joints are very prone to breaking when twisted for the first time. Please be extremely careful when rotating the joints for the first time!

When rotating the joints for the first time, please pay attention to the direction of rotation. Rotating in the direction shown in the diagram below will be safer.

Once you have successfully overcome the first rotation, you can move them freely without worrying about damaging them.

In addition, all the ball joints in the model are the same size as those in Dummy13 itself. You can freely combine them with Dummy13. For example, you can use them as a giant sword to be held in your hand.

Okay let's rip the bandaid - the profile is not well optimized, the build is for Beta Dummy, it weights as much as a dummy 13 and it is overdesigned to a point of absurdity. But it looks cool, please consider remixing/continue working on that model. It screams mech, edgy and Stabby in a way in which it does not deserve to just stay like this (and is very reminiscent of Decepticons or SR 71) Suggestions : remove the fins all together, put the jet(s) in the middle, reduce the amount of joints and the overall weight.

Strength Issue:The joints are too weak and small. There is a reason why the original Dummy 13 figure printed all the ball joints and connectors flat on the build plate. I think you need to go back and redesign the connections for the ball joints to be separate pieces.

one of the pieces broke, so I ended up printing it again and making this: it won't let me rate it for some reason, but 5 out of 5 stars!

really good addon to dummy 13. i used a fix for the winglets to make them more snug and removed one piece to make it look more like wings. then i panel lined them

Hey what did you adjust to make it work? We have printed it three times and can't quite figure it out. Thanks

Honestly I have no idea, I just kept printing until it worked - if I ever make an adjustment that consistently fixes it I’ll let you know

Printed multiple times (these are just a few broken pieces from the last print, I threw the rest away before taking the photo then I thought later to share the experience) but I have continuous problems with the pins breaking even though I followed the instructions to be careful not to break them The design is poorly made (a fillet at the base of the joints would have been enough) and the creator seems to have no intention of improving it If you want to waste time and filament this is an excellent project It's a pity because aesthetically they are really beautiful but it is truly flawed Printed in PETG
