Description

Halloween advent calendar for the Halloween season. Fully customizable in regards to what you add to each room. I've added a few  decorations to get you started but the idea is to create and customize the rooms to your liking.  Doors open and close, attached by a simple hook and hinge mechanism.  Many options for customization.  Open each door 1-31 until Halloween!!  Enjoy and happy printing.

There is a hole in the back of each insert to insert a small wire light. Link to lights provided at end of this description.

Print the inserts in white filament for extra glow.

Has no one made this thing all the way through? I remember seeing it last year and thought it was so cool. With halloween coming up I am wanting to start it but I would also love to see where someone else made it. Or. Some basic no lighting day type photos. Its hard to tell whats going on with it in the pictures that you posted. Its an extremely cool make though!

Well. I just started the print. Its a big commitment on time and filament so hopefully it works out. I did notice those doors look like they are going to be very very tricky to print in thier current configuration. I feel like laying them flat on their back, or standing them upright and just using supports for the hinges might work better. I guess im going to find out. Worse case I will try cutting the doors in studio so I can do that.

I printed most of it! It did take some time, but I ended up just using Black gold silk pla filament for the front, inserts and doors and matte black for the main structure. I found different mini figure prints from bambulabs and minimized some of them and mostly painted them. I don't like wasting so much filament when i print in multiple colors. I ended up hot gluing the little light pieces into the back and it works perfect! I tried to print the edge parts but couldn't do it....I'm a beginner and i felt like what I printed was exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you for offering this as a free print for someone who has a large Halloween advent calendar made out of a dollhouse and stickers. And thank you for etching the numbers into the door prints. That helped out a ton!

I'm interested in making this, but plate 1 has a lot of errors and the first layer looks to just be solid. Not sure if that was intentional. I sliced it out at .01mm and it appears ok now. Not sure if that's something you experienced?

jump start for next Halloween?! :) I'm trying to work on an improved/alternate design to speed up the print time a little bit. I know it's a long print but maybe instead of a structure I could do a wall hanging concept that is faster to print. Not sure yet but I have many concepts in my head haha

great concept. Can you design the door hinges stronger? Those are for sure going to break off (my kids are candy loving monsters). Glow in the dark PLA for the white as a suggestion.

Newbie question: can we print this in bambu studio with bambu filament? I don't have huforge software. Also, I'm unsure what the transmission distance means. One black is 0.3 and the other is 0.6. These are different filaments? I'm really interested in trying this. Seems next level for me, so I appreciate any info or assistance. Thank you!

I am so excited for this! I made a Halloween advent house out of a large dollhouse a few years ago based off of a pattern that I saw in a drs. office. It's so big that I was looking for something exactly like this! I have been able to also find small 3d printable figures that will work perfectly in each door. Thank you for sharing your inspired pattern!
