Description
This is my 3mf of the Dactyl Cygnus keyboard designed by juhakaup, from his GitHub which can be found here: https://github.com/juhakaup/keyboards/tree/main/Cygnus%20v1.0 with a corresponding reddit post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ErgoMechKeyboards/comments/1f0bygy/cygnus_4x6/
All credit for this very pretty design should go to juhakaup.
In the model I have included the top and bottom case for both a left and a right half (all on separate plates) and also a plate with a pair of controllers for the ‘elite c’ style controller. The orientation of the top case is to minimise support although I note that it is not the preferred method from the creator but it has worked well for me. You can fit the top case for both halves on one plate but I have separated them for simplicity.
This case is for the wireless version and to make a complete keyboard you will also need mx compatible switches, keycaps, two controllers, some wires and batteries. If you are not fully handwiring this you will also likely need the circuit boards detailed in the GitHub above along with some hotswap sockets and diodes but there are other options too… however if you want to DIY this you likely don't need my help explaining it.
As you can probably see from the photos above, I have yet to build this but the pieces fit together well and I will update this as I progress.
