grinch head…use last layer to change to colour black and use supports snug

print out the inserts in the correct colours and just glue in

glue head onto headband tab…same with arm

glue hand in sleeve

change from green to white colour for mistletoe berrys…no supports

The model is quite okay, unfortunately the parts do not fit together perfectly I painted them with acrylic markers before inserting the small parts then hammered the small parts in it was meant as a gift anyway

I’m slightly conflicted. I love the headband in general. But I don’t love the assembly - my printer is well calibrated, I’m used to printing with super low tolerance and clearance, butI really struggled to fit some pieces together and had to use loads of glue. Might be a good idea to also create a print profile for those with AMS? Otherwise really enjoying this, printed out 4 for Christmas, just really didn’t enjoy the assembly :)

printed with a few small quirks but the MAJOR issue was the inserts didn't fit at all, they were too small or the shape was wrong... used a nail file to get a somewhat ok fit...

That's interesting. Mine fit right off the print bed. Are you possibly squishing your first few layers?

used your print profile right out of the gate.. tried a few fix-up prints with different settings and still the same issues

Can someone get this in one piece? just AMS style nowadays you have printers with 4 heads anyways. I'd be using a x1carbon with one head but still, this one doesn't look like it would waste too much filament. If so , i'm a big fan, not a fan of assembling
