Pokemon Chess Set - remix high poly
Print Profile(5)

Description
These models are remakes of sch00f’s Pokémon Chess.
The original models were low-poly, so I updated the Pokémon models while keeping the base intact. They should fit with the bases from the original creator.
I tested the profile with 0.2mm and 0.4mm nozzles but noticed barely any difference in quality. Therefore, I printed everything with a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.12mm layer height to save time.
Supports tree(auto) “remove small overhangs” needs to be unchecked. Otherwise ninetals will loose a tips of its tails and Mewtwo will be missing his arm. This does not work when printing from the mobile app.
Top and Bottom Z distance is set to 0.08 mm, If you want easier to remove supports you can change this setting, although the supported surface might not become as nice.
I recommend hand-painting the pieces, as removing the supports can leave some marks. The supports are intentionally placed very close to the models, so you’ll need tools like a scalpel or small cuticle scissors/nippers to remove them. You can adjust the support Z distance if you find it to difficult to remove. For me the Bulbasaur model was a pain to remove supports, but it was doable with the right tools.
I used citadel paints for my pieces and the chess board is made by Rockman on Makerworld: Clasicc Chess Board - Big by Rockman - MakerWorld which fit perfectly for the size of the pieces.
There is also this really awesome Pokémon themed chessboard by Jorge Torres: Pokemon Chess Board by Jorge Torres - MakerWorld
Pokémon is a product of The Pokémon Company. These models are free for anyone to 3D print. They may not be sold for profit. I do not give permission to sell 3D printed models. These models are for private use only.
From the original creator:
"To better differentiate the pieces they have different base shapes:
-Pawn = round
-King & Queen = pentagon
-Bishop = hexagon
-Knight = heptagon
-Rook = octagon"
