Description

The Aircraft

The Cessna 182 Skylane, first introduced in 1956, is a high-performance, single-engine light aircraft known for its versatility, reliability, and ease of handling. It played a significant role in the evolution of general aviation by providing private pilots with an aircraft that combined power, range, and increased payload capacity compared to earlier models like the Cessna 172. Its robust design made it popular for personal use, training, and even bush flying. Over the decades, the 182 has seen numerous updates, including the introduction of the turbocharged variant in 1977, enhancing its high-altitude performance. With over 23,000 units produced, the Cessna 182 remains an iconic aircraft in general aviation history.

The Model

This is a lovely model to assemble and should not require any glue. Check those hinges and enjoy that spinny propeller. :-)
