Description

I originally designed this as a coaster, but the result looked so good that I ended up printing it in a larger size. However, if you scale it down, it makes the perfect Barcelona-themed coaster.

This project reimagines the classic panot of Barcelona by infusing it with Antoni Gaudí’s iconic trencadís mosaic technique. The tile maintains the original geometric structure but adds bold colors and flowing shapes, creating a more expressive version of the panot that captures the essence of Barcelona’s modernist heritage. This makes this piece a small yet powerful tribute to the city’s artistic spirit.

The different colored parts are designed to be printed separately for easy customization and a quick print. Each piece fits snugly into the panot base with a slight amount of pressure. I’ve created two versions: one where the entire inner flower is the same color, and another where each petal has a different color. Let me know which one you like best!
