Description
Hello,
I have developed a closure for ketchup or mustard bottles, which I designed using Fusion 360 and subsequently manufactured on a Bambulab P1S 3D printer using TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). TPU is a flexible yet robust material, making it perfect for this type of application.
The closure is specifically designed to be used for more than just ketchup or mustard. In my case, I use it to store and dispense baking soda. This is particularly practical when I want to reinforce glue joints. With the flexible TPU structure, the baking soda can be dispensed precisely and in controlled amounts, enabling a clean and efficient reinforcement of the glued areas.
By using TPU, the closure is not only durable but also flexible enough to exert pressure when needed and dispense the contents in a controlled manner. This project showcases the versatility of 3D printers like the Bambulab P1S and demonstrates practical everyday uses for TPU. The outer diameter of the bottle is 46mm.
